…. ALL NIGHT LONG ALL NIGHT LONG
DREAM AN ANGEL COME MY WAY
FEELING SAFE I SAY
What if you could get support to manage your fear of punishment, ridicule and feeling small for saying No to something you don’t want? Would you ask for help?
‘I SAY NO’ is dedicated to appreciation of life and freedom from abuse.
Abuse revolves around feelings of worthlessness. This is no different when it happens through verbally aggressive behavior or perpetual insults meant to humiliate or control the individual. The long-term cure is learning self-acceptance and self-care.
If you are in Ireland and need help, or are concerned about someone who may be or may have been in an abusive situation go to ‘Rape Crisis Help’ at http://www.rapecrisishelp.ie . Apart from rape they also deal with sexual abuse in childhood and they can help with other forms of abuse. Their service is free and confidential with compassionate and qualified counsellors. There is also support for family and friends available.
Anyone in any other part of the world go to ‘Rape Crisis Network Europe’ at http://www.rcne.com . There you will find international links for help.
